Lana Del Rey, the 38-year-old US pop artist, was spotted working at a Waffle House in Alabama this week, shortly after she took a picture with a fan at a Birmingham nail salon.
A fan captured a video of her behind the Waffle House counter, wearing a uniform and name tag, while making coffee. In the video, she reminds someone to get permission before filming inside the restaurant.
An Alabama resident named Karina Cisneros Juarez shared her excitement of meeting Del Rey on Facebook, along with a selfie of them together. She expressed her overwhelming joy, as she has been a huge fan of Lana Del Rey for over a decade.

Del Rey was reportedly very gracious and friendly during the encounter. Another Twitter user also shared photos and videos of Del Rey working at the Waffle House, serving customers and refilling coffee cups.
Despite being in Alabama, there was no indication that Del Rey was there for music-related work. Local recording studios mentioned that she hadn’t been seen in the area recently.
The Independent has reached out to Del Rey’s representatives for a statement.
In recent events, Del Rey gave a highly praised performance at London’s Hyde Park, earning a five out of five-star review. However, her Glastonbury set was cut short due to her late arrival, leaving several of her best songs unperformed and causing disappointment among the crowd.
